Beardsworths are pleased to invite you to a tree grafting workshop at our nurseries at Whitehall Road, Cleckheaton.
The workshop will cover many aspects of the grafting of trees and we hope it will be of interest to beginners and enthusiasts alike.
The topics that will be discussed by our grafters are:
- Why do we graft trees?
- Rootstock and tree (scion from now on!) compatibility.
- Preparation and harvesting of scion stock
- Grafting instruction and demonstration.
- Aftercare of your grafted tree.
We will finish with an opportunity to graft your own apple tree which you can take home with you.
We will email full details after your ticket purchase is completed and a reminder the week before the workshop.
If you need to cancel we offer a full refund up to a week before the advertised date and a 50% refund from then on.
